125th Anniversary
High School Old Boys' Rugby Club celebrates an incredible milestone — our 125th anniversary (or for the Latin lovers, our quasquicentennial).
The celebrations are locked in for the weekend of May 8–10, 2026 and planning is well underway to honour the rich history of our great club.

High School Old Boys 125-Year Fixtures
Saturday 9 May
There are lots of fixtures for you to enjoy today, including:
- All HSOB Senior teams will be playing at 'The Iceberg' on Saturday afternoon with games kicking off from midday
- The HSOB Tri rugby team will also be playing
- The HSOB Men's Premier team will play Sumner in round 5 of the Canterbury Metro Championship
Post match presentations
The clubrooms will be open for post-match presentations before the Gala Dinner on Saturday night. A chance to have a catch up with everyone over a drink before getting dressed for the evening.

HSOB Clubrooms 'The Igloo'
The clubrooms are located at 12 Riccarton Avenue, up the driveway behind Hagley Tennis.
Home Ground 'The Iceberg'
HSOB Senior Teams home grounds are the Bob Deans Fields on North Hagley Park, fields 0-3.
Trainings are held weeknights during the season on fields 4 & 5.
HSOB Junior Teams use fields 6-10.
